For our FFA students we also carry Land O’Lakes and Purina Brand show feeds called Honors and Show Chow. Local high school and middle schools have programs that teach students about livestock and other animals. Purina’s Show Chow offers programs that students can receive money back for their purchase of feed. Each year students can fill out a form and send it to Purina Mills, along with pictures of students and the prize winning animals, and receive other prizes, such as Purina jackets, cap, cups, and much more. When the year comes to an end, HISD offers a FFA show where students show off their animals. Big Tex Feed supports students who have shopped with us throughout the year. We believe that the students’ hard work deserves acknowledgement and support from those in the community. If you have any questions about how to join the clubs and programs offered by Purina please visit www.purinamills.com or to join your local school’s FFA program, we can introduce you to the school's FFA teacher. Also for younger students,  the FFA program offers junior programs so that kids from all ages can get a head start.
